The Jesus and Mary Chain band will perform 8-9 p.m. Mar. 11 at Main Stage 1.

Formed in 1983 in Glasgow, Scotland, the group has an ’80s post-punk sound and is known for its violent stage antics.
Two of the group’s hit songs are “Just like Honey” and “Head On.” Brothers Jim and William Reid wrote songs and the band produced six albums from 1983 to 1999 until the band broke up. In 2007 the band got back together and is currently working on an album.

Dum Dum Girls will perform from 6-6:45 p.m. Mar. 11 at Main Stage 1.

The band formed in 2008 in California. The all-female lineup has a soft melodic tone with resonating vocals and hard-hitting lyrics.

The girls have produced the two albums I Will Be and Only in Dreams. The critically acclaimed albums have boosted the group’s notoriety, taking it to the forefront of success.

The Mountain Goats will perform from 8-9:30 p.m Mar. 9 at Main Stage 1.

The Mountain Goats began as a solo-poetry project by front man John Darnielle. Darnielle combined his poetry with music and recorded it in his small apartment on a boom box.

This rustic, indie-rock band has released 14 albums since 1994 and will release Transcendental Youth this year.

Designer Drugs will perform from 12:30-1:30 a.m. Mar. 8 at Hailey’s Club.

Designer Drugs is an electronic duo including Michael Vincent Patrick and Theodore Paul Nelson. The two spend most of their time touring and promoting their debut album Hardcore/Softcore.

Inspired by chaos and the darker side of electronica, Designer Drugs gained popularity by remixing songs for well-known artists such as Mariah Carey and Thieves Like Us.

Burning Hotels will perform 10:30-11:15 p.m. March 9 at Hailey’s.

The Fort Worth band is an indie rock trio with a soft sound and graceful vocals.

The band has received several local awards from The Fort Worth Weekly, including best rock song, album and act in 2010.

Burning Hotels also won The Dallas Observer’s music award for best indie act.
