Dutch Bros Coffee, originally from Oregon, is making its way across the U.S. It is scheduled to open on April 18,  a Dutch Bros customer experience associate said.

The new coffee shop is a mile from Brookhaven Campus. The 14380 Marsh Lane location will give students, staff and faculty another option for coffee and treats before heading to campus.

Jacob Eaton, a Brookhaven student, said Dutch Bros Coffee is one of the best he has had. “I got the Golden Eagle Coffee,” he said. “If it was anywhere on my way toward school, I’d go back for sure.”

The coffee company made its debut on Texas soil on Jan. 8, 2021 in College Station. The same day, they broke ground on a nearby location in Bryan.

While many restaurants and retail stores closed because of COVID-19, Dutch Bros Coffee has been able to grow. According to Forbes: “Dutch Bros Coffee has grown in two ways: via franchised and company-owned locations.”

Dutch Bros Coffee not only serves coffee but also offers teas, smoothies, energy drinks and more. They stand out from other coffee shops by offering a drive-thru as well as a walk-up window where you can go up to place your order.
