Digital Art & Design hosted a UX & UI Open House on Nov. 16, at The Atrium Gallery Brookhaven Campus.
It was a fun interactive event that centered around the emerging field of user experience/user interface design. The open house kicked off with artist talks by UT Arlington professors Ben Dolezal and Kim Elliott, followed by guest speaker Cassini Nazir, UX designer at Toyota USA. Cassini spoke about how “curiosity” can be meaningfully infused into design processes.
The event was a great networking opportunity with attendance of industry professionals. The event concluded with one lucky student winning a UX/UI design art kit.
