On Sept. 3, Brookhaven held a Sexual Health Awareness event where different vendors educated students on sex health in promotion of STI Awareness Month. The event was planned as a game of bingo in order to learn about sexual health. Snacks and different safe-sex products were supplied by the tables open to anyone to grab.

The different vendors provided different types of sex education, as well free STI tests were given just outside the campus. The sponsors ranged from organizations such as Talk About It Texas and Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, who provide resources to students that have been victims of sexual violence.

Others, such as Brookhaven table and Trust Her, provided hygiene and protection products for both men and women.
