Brookhaven College’s Earth Science Fair gave students and families a chance to explore and participate in a variety of activities Oct. 19 and 20. 1,100 attendees were invited to speak with experts from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Dallas Amateur Radio, the Fort Worth Museum. Top vendors from the area brought rocks, minerals and fossils to display and sell during the two-day event.

More than 75 volunteers helped coordinate demonstrations and activities ranging from making slime to creating gas bubbles. The next Earth Science Fair will be Feb. 22 and 23.
