Building upon raw experimentation, the second installment of DAMN, or Dallas Ambient Music Nights, is a monthly showcase of ambient soundscape artists who call Dallas home.

Red Bull Sound Select: TOPS, Puro Instinct, Blackstone Rangers at Three Links

Yet again, Red Bull curates a night of pop and eccentric art with Montreal’s chart-toppers TOPS, Los Angeles’ sister sensation Puro Instinct and Dallas’ own Blackstone Rangers. In Sound Select fashion, the event is only $3 with RSVP onredbullsoundselect.com.

35 Denton 2015 at Downtown Denton

A week prior to the annual SXSW music conference in Austin every year, blog-worthy bands descend on downtown Denton for the 35 Denton Music Festival. This year is no exception. Los Angeles’ power pop quartet Corners, Austin’s cold-wave act SURVIVE and Montreal’s Marie Davidson are highlights of the weekend.

Spillover: Liars, Iceage, Jeff The Brotherhood, King Tuff, Diarrhea Planet at Deep Ellum

Following SXSW, Spillover is a music fest curated by Parade of Flesh. The North Texas debut of Danish punk act Iceage will set this year apart. Liars, Jeff the Brotherhood, King Tuff, Diarrhea Planet and more make for a vibrant conglomeration of sounds.
