All Dallas College locations will be closed Feb. 3 and 4 due to anticipated inclement weather. Phone calls, emails and texts were sent out to update students, faculty and staff regarding campus closings.

Dr. Joe May, Dallas College chancellor, said in an email, only in-person classes will be canceled, but online classes will continue as scheduled.

May also said in his email, “While our doors will not be open, all student services will continue to be available virtually by calling 972-669-6400 or joining an online video chat at dallascollege.edu/virtualadvising.”

The Brookhaven Campus shut down at 5 p.m. on Feb. 2. Mark Lopez, Brookhaven Campus police Cmdr., said in an email buildings and classrooms would be locked down at 5:15 p.m. “The building will remain locked until Saturday morning if the college is reopened,” Lopez said. “We will also be closing the entrance gates at 5:30.”
