Need to destress? Try a visit to Vitruvian Park

Stress can be a real problem for college students. Sometimes what you need is a place to relax. But how can you do that if your next class is in an hour?

One option is to walk behind campus to Vitruvian Park. The park boasts many features, such as an amphitheater, waterfall, workout area and multiple seating areas. You can take a walk around the park trail, waving to the ducks in the water or head to the bar next to the bridge passing through the park.

If walking is not your thing, you can always rest at one of the multiple islands in the water, accessed by bridges. On these islands you can let the view sink in. There are many sights, such as the Fiori hotel looming over the park, or the tall apartment complexes to the side, connected by impressive gated courtyards.

If you are more of a nature person, you can go check out the trees, newly planted in the fall, next to the Bella Lane extension road.

Vitruvian is an ideal spot to relax in between classes on campus. If you ever want to visit, just hop on the walking trail behind X Building, or get on Bella Lane behind the under-construction V Building.
